The agreement for using the aus.contact AI webmail application.
Last updated: 2026. These terms are between you and Directory.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 68 090 816 461) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
aus.contact connects to email accounts you authorise over IMAP and uses AI to read, sort, flag and draft email according to your instructions. It's a tool to assist you — you remain responsible for your email and any messages sent from your accounts.
AI features rely on third-party AI providers. If you use your own AI key, your use is also governed by that provider's terms. AI output can be imperfect — always review drafts, sorting and flags. We're not liable for actions taken on unreviewed AI output where review was available to you.
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Free tiers may have fair-use limits. We may update features or these terms; material changes will be notified, and continued use means acceptance.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and our liability is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination your connected credentials and keys are removed.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
